•        Spree battery go dead

    It could be that your regulator plug is corroded.......
•   If your lights  (taillight, blinkers, horn) all work when you are driving, but not with the engine off, your regulator is ok and the plug is ok. You may need a battery, or fuse.
•    If the engine is running, and only the headlight works, you have no tail light or signals, the battery keeps going dead even after you charge it, the plug may be corroded and the wires not making connection.

•   A spree will run without the battery. If your battery is low and you have no kick start, you can jump it with a car battery, same as jumping another car. Positive to Positive, Negative to Negative.   12 volts
